What do you do?
JK-Fish is an all-in-one custom aquarium company. We specialize in custom builds for residential and commercial spaces, aquarium maintenance, and sales of aquatic livestock and dry goods. Our 20,000-gallon facility is home to 15 different species of sharks, 100+ species of coral, a wide variety of saltwater and freshwater fish, and our Japanese Koi farm. We also create Live Coral Art, with over 100 different custom pieces.
What makes your aquariums special?
Our experience, and our team of like-minded people who care about everything we do — whether it’s installing a 6,000-gallon shark tank or servicing a 90-gallon freshwater cichlid tank. We take pride in every part of the process, and we strive to make every client happy.
Is everything really custom and handmade?
Most of our aquariums are custom, though we do offer stock sizes. The coral art is all custom, and most of the coral we offer is grown right here in our facility.
Why would I want an aquarium?
An aquarium brings a beautiful, one-of-a-kind experience to any home or office — a little piece of the ocean. It’s a thriving ecosystem full of vibrant colors and shapes, it’s known to reduce stress, and it makes a wonderful conversation piece.
Are you a coral farm?
Yes — JK-Fish is one of the larger coral farms in North Jersey, with over 14,000 gallons of reef aquarium space.
Is having an aquarium safe for children?
Absolutely. An aquarium isn’t just safe for children — it lets them learn about and enjoy something natural, beautiful, and real. It brings life to a space, sparks curiosity and new ideas, offers time away from screens, and builds a sense of responsibility. JK-Fish started with a single aquarium!
Can I shop for Coral Art in the store?
Yes, and it’s the best way to do it. Schedule a personal shopping visit and explore the beauty of what we have to offer in person.
Can I shop for fish too?
Yes. You can shop for fish in store by booking a personal shopping appointment, or browse and buy fish anytime at our online store.
How does building the Coral Art work?
It starts with selecting the base piece. From there, each coral is individually chosen and cut. Every piece has its own unique look and feel, and all of the coral is grown in house — a truly organic process.
What can I learn about keeping fish at home?
Keeping fish at home is a wonderful experience. There’s plenty of information online, so do your research first before choosing the type of habitat you’d like to create. JK-Fish will walk you through the entire process of selecting and building whatever habitat you want to pursue. It’s an added responsibility, but well worth it in the end.
